The latest extract of the Tagging database is now available for download, and includes data on the release and recovery of IOTC species, in particular tropical tunas, obtained through the implementation of an EU-funded Regional Tuna Tagging Programme (RTTP) and several other small-scale tagging projects.
The data supersedes the previous tagging data released by the IOTC Secretariat for the 14th Working Party on Tropical Tunas-14, October 2012, and 2012 Tagging Symposium. Information is included on all new recoveries reported to the IOTC Secretariat, up to July 2014.

• The latest extract of the Tagging database is available in several formats, including:
i.) .mdb format (Access 2010)
ii.) .xls
iii.) .csv
• A definition of the tagging data variables is also provided for the reference.
• The dataset follows the same structure and list of variables as previously provided for WPTT-14, combining key variables from both the tagging release and recovery databases.
