Summary statistics of the daily numbers of active buoys monitored by the purse seiners of the European Union (EU), Japan (JPN), Republic of Korea (KOR), Mauritius (MUS), Sultanate of Oman (OMN), Seychelles (SYC), and United Republic of Tanzania (TZA) for the period between January 2020 and December 2022. A stratum is defined as the unique combination of a year - month - 1°x1° grid area
