These data describe the status of the entities included in the interactive simulation tool developed to support the exploration of configuration options for the catch allocation components considered by the IOTC Technical Committee on Allocation Criteria (TCAC).
For the purpose of the simulations, entities are defined as analytical units representing the 31 current IOTC Contracting Parties (CPs) and Cooperating non-Contracting Parties (CNPCs), together with Taiwan,China, which participates in the work of the Commission as an invited expert and is treated as a fishing entity for modelling purposes only.
The dataset includes the parameters used to characterise each entity in relation to the allocation criteria applied in the simulations. A detailed description of the fields included in this file is provided in Appendix 1 of document IOTC-2026-TCAC16-INF01.
All scripts and data used to generate the simulation tool are publicly available in the iotc-tcac-simulations repository hosted on the IOTC Secretariat’s GitHub.
The dataset is provided as a CSV file, which can be opened directly in common spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel or LibreOffice Calc, or viewed using any standard text editor.
