Stock assessment inputs - Yellowfin tuna (YFT)

The archive includes three files prepared by the IOTC Secretariat to support the assessment of the Indian Ocean stock of yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares):

1. The dataset of raised catches of yellowfin tuna (IOTC-2024-WPTT26(AS) - YFT - Raised catches_Rev1.csv)
2. Two versions of the size-frequency dataset for yellowfin tuna after standardisation of all size measurements into fork lengths:
   • Size data at different spatial resolutions as reported to the Secretariat (IOTC-2024-WPTT26(AS) - YFT - Size frequencies (original).csv)
   • Size data at a unique spatial resolution of 5x5 degree-grids (IOTC-2024-WPTT26(AS) - YFT - Size frequencies (cwp55).csv)
3. The mapping between the the IOTC fishery strata (i.e., fleet, gear, and school type) and the fishery codes used in the assessment (IOTC-2024-WPTT26(AS) - YFT - Fishery mapping_Rev1.csv)
