Datasets and catch limits of yellowfin tuna for Indonesia (19/01)

This Excel spreadsheet provides the history and details of the datasets and catch limit computations for Indonesian fisheries catching yellowfin tuna according to Resolution 19/01.

The first worksheet presents the data available to the Secretariat, as reported by Indonesia and documented in the national reports.

The second worksheet provides an overview of the datasets used in the Circulars and corresponding IOTC papers presented to the WPDCS.

The third worksheet lists the catch data scenarios considered for updating Indonesia’s catch limits.

It should be noted that an error occurred in Circular 2024-66, in which the catch limit for 2023 was calculated using a 125% penalty that was erroneously applied to the 2022 catch limit. Based on the data available at the time of the Circular (dataset 4), only one year of overcatch had occurred.
